Summer Enrichment Programs
Welcome to Summer at MPA! Summer is fast approaching, and we are excited to announce our 2021 Summer Class and Camp offerings! You will find a variety of opportunities to help motivate and nurture your student’s curiosity and learning, while having lots of fun in the process.
Summer enrichment, athletic, and academic classes for Lower, Middle, and Upper School run throughout the summer and offers a variety of engaging class topics such as: chess, art, science, academic, carpentry, sports, and more. During Lower School enrichment class weeks of June 21-25 and June 28-July 1 free Panther Care is available from 7-9 AM and 4-6 PM.
During the week of June 14-18, we are offering the national award-winning STEM program, “Camp Invention.” This week-long camp consists of exciting, hands-on, inquiry-based activities that allow students to explore, create, and innovate. “Camp Invention” runs 9-3:30 PM, with free Panther Care available 7-9 AM and 3:30-6 PM.
Finally, what is summer without our Panther Camp Care weeks? These camp programs offer weekly activity themes that allow students to explore nature, science, sports, arts, and so much more. Our Panther Camp program is available June 7-11 and July 5-August 20. You can register for daily, half-day, and weekly Panther Camp options. Panther Camp is available 8 AM-6 PM.

Camp Operations in response to COVID-19:
Based on CDC recommendations, we anticipate operating our summer program with the following protocols. Detailed procedures with be sent to all participating families.
- No-contact drop-off. When entering the building, a staff member will greet campers and run through the symptom checklist with parents, including temperature check. Once completed and cleared to enter camp, staff will direct campers to Panther Camp area.
- Masks for indoor and outdoor activities. Campers and staff will be required to wear a mask while at Panther Camp and classes. Masks will be supplied by the program, or can be brought from home.
- Hand hygiene practices. Campers will wash hands or, when not near a sink, use hand sanitizer as they enter and exit camp. Hand hygiene will also be required when changing activities, eating, and as needed throughout the day.
- No-contact pick-up. Parents and guardians will be greeted by staff for student pick-up.
