Fees and Policies
For children entering Kindergarten through grade six. June 7-11 & July 5-August 20
Panther Camp is a great place for your child to spend the day! They will be in a nurturing environment, participating in exciting summer activities and adventures. We offer a full-day and half-day camp program with flexible daily or weekly care options. Our program offers activities that allow students to participate in science, nature, the arts, and so much more. We have an air-conditioned facility and are surrounded by 32 acres of land with a beautiful playground to facilitate all of our outdoor activities.
Program hours: 8 AM – 6PM
Panther Camp fees:
8 AM-12 PM or 1-6 PM
8 AM – 6 PM
**There is a $25 discount for each full week of full-day registrations.
Fee includes all program supplies and materials
Healthy snacks are provided throughout the day, but children must bring their own cold lunch. Please have your child bring a water bottle each day as well.
Registration and payment are easy
Registration and payment is due at least one week prior to week of service. Weekly themes are listed. You may register for multiple weeks at a time.
Changes or cancellation of registration
If you are registered for Panther Camp and you need to cancel, you must provide written cancellation at least one week in advance. Unless we receive written cancellation at least one week in advance, you will be responsible for the cost of the dates you are registered for.
Mounds Park Academy reserves the right to use photographs of your child participating in Panther Camp. You must notify us in writing if you do not want your child photographed.
We will follow hot weather safety precautions and limit outdoor time when warranted. Please make sure to apply sunblock before arrival, and/or send sunblock with your child for application as needed. It is helpful if you label all items with your student’s name.
Required sign-out procedure
All students must be signed out by an authorized adult. Please indicate on the registration form any additional individuals authorized to pick up your student at the end of the day. Any authorized adult should have proper identification, which may be checked by MPA staff.
Camp Operations in response to COVID-19:
Based on CDC recommendations, we anticipate operating our summer program with the following protocols. Detailed procedures with be sent to all participating families.
- No-contact drop-off. When entering the building, a staff member will greet campers and run through the symptom checklist with parents, including temperature check. Once completed and cleared to enter camp, staff will direct campers to Panther Camp area.
- Masks for indoor and outdoor activities. Campers and staff will be required to wear a mask while at Panther Camp. Masks will be supplied by the program, or can be brought from home.
- Hand hygiene practices. Campers will wash hands or, when not near a sink, use hand sanitizer as they enter and exit camp. Hand hygiene will also be required when changing activities, eating, and as needed throughout the day.
- No-contact pick-up. Parents and guardians will be greeted by staff for student pick-up.
