Learn the sport of Fencing with Minnesota Sword Play. This course will teach you the basic skills of fencing. During the week you will learn how to come to guard, learn basic block moves, and learn counters and attacks. Don't miss you. MPA's most popular enrichment class!

Join Mrs. DesLauriers as we discover and explore an array of French speaking countries in this class. Students will learn about the culture of each country, speak the language, and participate in a variety of activities related to each country of study. MAGNIFIQUE!

Learn how to cook comme un francais with MPA's own Madame Johnson. During class, students will learn how to make the famous Quiche Lorraine, Mousse au chocolat, Crepes, Madeleines, and many more delicious French dishes! Also, learn about French culture. Students will receive a recipe book at the end of class to share with their families.

Lego City Camp with Snapology

In Snapology's Lego City camp, students will explore the world of transportation, structures, and what makes a city go! Students will build models of their favorite forms of transportation, as well as what makes a strong structure like a building or bridge. By the end of the week we'll have a huge city full of buildings, vehicles, parks and other awesome structures.

National Camp Invention

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! Camp Invention is the only nationally recognized summer enrichment program focused on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities, innovation, and critical thinking skills. The week-long camp consists of exciting hands-on, inquiry-based activities that allow students to explore, create, and innovate. Best of all, Camp Invention is taught by MPA faculty. A highly attended summer program!

What do Curious George, Amelia Earhart, and Albert Einstein have in common? They all faced a problem or two in their adventures. Novel Engineering participants will listen to fiction and non-fiction stories and use Design Thinking to solve problems students indentify in the stories. Students will share ideas, brainstorm solutions, create prototypes, and test their solutions using tools and materials in our Makerspace.

Have you met Ralph from Beverly Cleary's book, The Mouse and the Motorcycle? What about the Hidden Figures story? In every story we read, there are challenges and problems individuals face. Mounds Park Academy Basketball is excited to offer their annual Summer Panther Basketball Camp held June 14-17 from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM in the Lansing Sport Center. With more than 40 campers attending last year, they are expecting another tremendous camp. Emphasis on shooting, ball handling, and fundamentals for all skill levels. All campers receive a camp t-shirt.

It's time for your artist to roll up their sleeves, make a mess, and play with some clay! Students will use a variety of different types of clay throughout camp week.
