Join us for MPA's largest fundraising event of the year! The 2025 MPA Spring Auction: Gala of Gratitude is your chance to support our beloved school while building community with fellow parents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, and friends.
This year’s event is especially meaningful as we honor Dr. Bill Hudson, our esteemed Head of School, who will retire after years of extraordinary leadership at the end of this school year. Dr. Hudson’s vision, dedication, and care have profoundly shaped MPA and left a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire future generations.
The Gala of Gratitude draws inspiration from the universal symbol of gratitude, with its spiral center and three circular dots representing the cycle and impact of gratitude. Just as this symbol reflects the endless flow of appreciation and connection, Dr. Hudson’s contributions have created ripples of positivity, transforming lives and sustaining our vibrant community.
Enjoy an unforgettable evening filled with delicious cuisine, a hosted bar, great conversation, games, and exciting live and silent auctions. Celebrate Mounds Park Academy and Dr. Hudson’s enduring legacy as we come together to express our heartfelt gratitude for all he has done.
Exciting Updates for 2025:
Sponsorship Pre-Party: We are thrilled to bring back the exclusive Sponsorship Pre-Party! Sponsors will enjoy an intimate gathering in one of the luxurious Penthouse Suites of the Omni Viking Lakes Hotel. This special event includes hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and the opportunity to connect with Dr. Hudson and fellow sponsors in an elegant setting.
Golden Ticket is Back!: MPA’s Golden Ticket is your chance to win one of our incredible live auction items for only $150! Purchase one of 100 Golden Tickets, which will be drawn during the Spring Auction program (you do not need to be present to win). This year’s prizes include fabulous trips and experiences worth thousands of dollars. Golden Tickets will be available for purchase starting March 1.
Introducing Gifts of Gratitude: Formerly known as “Mystery Boxes,” this feature has been refreshed to offer even more delight. Gifts of Gratitude will now be organized into categories, allowing guests to choose a box that resonates with them. Each box will contain wonderful surprises, including more than one grand prize hidden among them!
Considering a Donation?: Support the auction by donating an item, gift cards or wine! Every contribution helps make this event a success.
