Mounds Park Academy

Summer Program

We are excited to announce our "Summer at MPA" programs and activities. For the first time ever, MPA is producing a large-scale summer musical. This 6-week summer theatre experience will culminate with the opening and run of "The Lion King Jr." This is a wonderful opportunity for students to hone their acting, creativity, and performance skills. All who audition will be cast.

In addition, June 18-22, MPA is offering a week-long enrichment class session with a mix of academic, art and athletic classes. With familiar teachers and MPA staff on hand teaching classes, our goal is to engage a student's learning while having fun in the process. During enrichment class week, free Panther Care is available from 7:00 am - 9:00 am and 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.

During the week of June 25-29, we are offering the national award-winning STEM program, "Camp Invention."  This week-long camp consists of exciting, hands-on, inquiry-based activities that allow students to explore, create, and innovate. During Camp Invention week, free Panther Care is available 7:00 am - 9:00 am and 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm.

Finally, what is summer without our Panther Camp weeks? Panther Camp is available June 11-15 and July 9-August 10. Panther Camp offers weekly programming themes to explore science, nature, arts, and much more.
